Seascape sounds guessing games!

Sorry folks, but some of this weeks blog is podcast only! I decided to play a wee sound game when we went to Riverton, plus I managed to get Mark on the Podcast too. Those to features are listen only (link below). For the rest, read on!

Work

It’s been a really quiet week at work this week, it’s the first week of the school holidays and a lot of people are away. I have to admit I don’t think I maximised that quite the way I should have, sometimes I have I really can’t be fagged types of weeks. This was one of those. I didn’t even get my lunchtime walks in due to the crazy roaring 40’s spring winds, or should I say gales. By contrast, Mark has had the opposite experience!

Swimming

Swimming this week hit a 3, the third was Saturday morning (because I flaked it Friday morning!) will able to kick x 16 lengths but I have to really concentrate and be real careful. Unable to sprint on Mod at morning so I just did 1km-only had 20 mins). Saturday morning I did my long session and had some entertainment at the same time. There was a guy in my next lane who was swimming 1, wait a while, swim back, wait a while and so on. I was just motoring up and down not really paying much attention. He then started waiting for me to come and lining himself up for a race, every 3 or 4. So, the competitive edge in me wasn’t going to let him win! You know how lesser experienced swimmers rotate their arms faster to go faster? Not me. Power, stroke stays the same so if you’re watching you wouldn’t know the difference. Yip, I beat him every time! This went on for a wee while and I was quite enjoying myself, until I got to around lap 70 (of 100) and he got out and left! Aaaah spoil sport!

You will need to listen to the podcast to hear Mark’s news and play our guessing game! Comment below and let us know if you got the answers right…

Here it is again…

If you want to actually SEE where I was, here is the video.. but make sure you listen and play the game first!
